There is a 2 page article with a number of recipes in CM Summer 86, page 48.
I tried one of them and it looks black until you get it in the sunshine;
then you see gold sparkles like mad.

There is a lot of info in the article about application and firing,
etc.that one needs to pay attention to in addition to the recipes. It's a
fun decorative glaze- possibly not too durable- the recipes all have a lot
of either borax or bicarb. of soda.

Dear Ann,

Thank you for mentioning this; I know nothing about them and I fire in that
range of temperatures. Is there any way you could email me the article as I
don't have these issues of CM? I subscribed to CM a couple of months ago,
but still no show, and there is no where around here I could get to see
