I'm getting ready to make some test tiles using a crocus martis stain on
white earthenware. I want to experiment with 4 proportions
(concentrations) of the stain. Can someone give me a general range of
percentages I should try? Thanks.

Patricia,
As a starting point you can use the crocus marits as if it were red iron oxide in the stain and go
from there.
