By the way, someone told me that Mason's Golden Ambrosia (6129) makes a very
satisfying warmly-colored golden stain for majolica. (Alas, I can't remember
who it was, sorry!) On my monitor it looks almost RIO-colored.

It's marked 5/2 Zn, FWIW--perhaps it could be thinned to do what we're
aiming for, Lili? Though with the "Zn," I'm wondering if we won't run into
that opacity we're trying to avoid...
