I have been having a great time looking at all the fabulous work there! Not
a stinker in the bunch!

I have a question though. I was considering trying to bribe someone into
putting one of my pieces in the gallery too but there is no category for bowls.
There are plates. platters, pitchers, mugs, sculpture, teapots, bottles,
vases, lidded forms and drinking vessels but no bowls.

Is there some kind of discrimination going on here? A bowl-o-phobia? Or are
they being slipped in with the plates and platters? A few pieces looked like
deeper plates but why no bowls?

Especially after seeing Sam's bowls with the glaze tests today, I'd love to
see a lot more of them. Anyone else interested too?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Susie, who will go sit down and shut up now.

PS I hope all of you partiers in Baltimore are having a great time!

Susie,

The form gallery was a project of mine last spring/summer, and I started
with categories I wanted to see, and kept adding new ones based on requests
and other inspirations. There's no systematic "bowl-o-phobia" going on,
it's just that I sort of ran out of steam at some point, partly related to
family stuff going on and then later during my recovery from broken bones
last fall.

Some day hopefully I will again feel energetic enough to work on it some
more. First I have to assemble the gallery of stay-at-home exchangers
work. I have enough photos to get started, just need to find the time and
energy.
