Tilemakers might be interested in an emergency / will-do-in -a- pinch
tilepress that they already own.
I found that the scissor jack of my car works really well. You need
something structurally sound that the jack and your mold will fit under.
I use my deck. The mold I place on a plywood board so as it doesn't
get pressed into the earth. I put on the clay ,canvas , and another
board (the size of the mold) on top, then the jack , and jack it up until it
touches the Joist.
If you play around with it , it reallyy works well. (Might get some odd
looks from the neighbours though. )
