So I have finally done it.
I have put my pottery out here for all to see, it
feels both frightning and exciting.
It is a small begining, we plan to get a more pro
looking site later.

Have a look, feedback is always appriciated!

I was reading about a painter Jeff Cohen, who has a
lot of succes selling his art on ebay.
Is anyone here selling on ebay, and if so what is your
experience?
And what would be the reasons not to sell on ebay?

Iben,

I liked your website!

The categories in ebay seem a little broad when it comes to deciding where
to list artwork. I am sure someone else may have figured out which one(s)
are the best places to list. The first time I listed a limited edition
hand-pulled etching it sold to a man in Washington DC who loves it and was
very excited. He added me to his list of 'favorite sellers'. That
experience alone was worth the trouble, although I purposely sold it at a
really low price (it was also small in dimensions). I have since listed a
few other things but didn't have as much luck - I think it was because of my
timing, my category choice, the wording of my 'title', and probably my
starting price. Those are things experience and research could help with.
I am also not sure how educated a lot of the buyers on ebay are when it
comes to art. You might need to educate them a little in your item
descriptions. I know that if I saw your things on ebay, and if I was able
to read a little about you I would want to buy one of your pieces.

Seems very professional to me. Just beautiful and I hope you get many
visitors and that the site generates scores of purchases.
