Does anyone know where I can find printable charts for tracking my
firings, in Centigrade (not Farenheit)? Thanks...

Kelly,

I have a blank Kiln Log with Centigrade in the back of my book. You could
Xerox it?!

Hope it helps,

Kelly,
I'm ashamed of you! Homeschooler, chicken coop builder, greenhouse guru,
granola maker, and you can't sit down with a ruler and make a
time/temperature grid on a blank piece of paper? Then you can reproduce it
very cheaply at Kinkos as often as needed.
That's all I did twenty years ago, and hundreds of reprints later the design
is still very functional. Leave some room for date, turn on and turn off
times, notes, etc, and you'll have a very nice loose-leaf binderable record
of your firing to compare with all it's previous ones.
Of course, you could pay big bucks for my next workshop and see one of mine,
if you'd prefer!
Best,

It's easy to make one using a spread sheet program. Just enter your =20
temps in the rows, as much as will fit down the side of a reg or legal =20=

page, and enter times across the top: say every 1/2 hr or whatever will =20=

fit across....

I make firing charts from a piece of graph paper for each firing, in centigrade, 0-1300 degrees from bottom to top along the left hand side of the page; time across the bottom of the page, starting at the same lower left hand corner and moving across the page from left to right. For temperature, start at bottom left hand corner, quarter inch graph paper, every other line, zero in the corner, skip a line, 100 degrees C, skip a line, 200 degrees C, so on to 1300 C, from bottom to top along the left hand side of the page. Starting in the same lower left hand corner and moving across the bottom of the page from left to right; time the burners are lit, lower left hand corner, skip a line, an hour later, skip a line, and hour later, and so on across the page.
Good for you for wanting to keep track of what the curve looks like from firing to firing. After awhile you can lay one sheet over another to find out if you're on track or not. An enourmous help.

You can download a firing record that includes a temperature/time graph. It
is in PDF format. Click on the link and then scroll down to "Firing Record,
Ramp-Hold."
