Just wanted all you Clayarters to know that both David McBeth and Mark =
Issenberg have decided to join us for the Hank Murrow workshop here at =
the Craft Center (central Tennessee, 60 miles east of Nashville) next =
weekend, April 1,2,3. We're going to have a great time, and we'd love =
to see more of you there. =20

For info about the workshop go to =
http://www.tntech.edu/craftcenter/wkshops/spring/april.html, and then =
you can backtrack through the website to get registration information. =
If you are unable to be here for the Friday evening part, you could =
still participate for Saturday and Sunday.=20

As I mentioned in another post, Saturday April 2 is also our annual =
Celebration of Craft, and marks the 25th anniversary of the Appalachian =
Center for Craft. There will be all sorts of activities on Saturday in =
addition to the workshop. Go to =
http://www.tntech.edu/craftcenter/celebration.html for more information =
about the celebration. =20

Marvin -
Thanks so much for that testimonial. I have known Hank for a long time, so
I knew what to expect. He is delightful and crammed with knowledge about
clay and life. My students are having a great time with him, and that is
epecially fine right now, with me confined to a wheelchair.

Hope you are doing well -
- Vince

Vince, just to let you know that last summer our guild had a Hank Murrow
workshop at my studio and Hank stayed at our home. It was a very enriching and
enjoyable experience for all of our guild members; my wirfe and I had the added
advantage of having Hank at home before and after the workshop, giving us a
chance to know him better and make a new friend.
I'm sure anyone attending the workshop he will be giving at your facility
will come away with similar good feelings and they will have learned a lot too.
All the best to you and to Hank as well.
