Greetings. I sometimes use wax resist over the rims of pots which have
been first lined with glaze (cone 9-10) on the inside and over the rim. I
do this to achieve a clean line after dipping the outside in a different
glaze. When I use a glossy oatmeal glaze the process works perfectly, but
when I use a glossy white glaze and wax over it, the wax peels after a
short while. The white glaze drys to a more powdery state than the oatmeal
which I suspect is the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or
alternatives? Thanks. Dan
