Hi Everyone,

Ron and I would like to collect some information and we need your help.
Several thousand potters have now tried at least some of our glazes on
all manner of clay bodies all over the world. We know from the level of
questions and the feedback we get that problems with glaze/clay body
fit are relatively rare, but do occasionally occur. But we would like
to develop a list of bodies that either fit our glazes well or have
crazing or shivering problems.

We are trying to understand how wide a range of bodies are being sold
and whether in any future work we need to develop a wider range of
expansions in our glazes or whether what we have now fit the vast
majority of bodies. Having this information would also put us in a
better position to help people who have problems in the future.

So anyone who has information they are willing to share on this subject
please send it off-list to me at:

john@frogpondpottery.com

We would need glaze name(s), body name(s) and manufacturer(s), and
whether it/they fit(s) well, craze(s), or shiver(s).

So, please flood me with emails. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

John
