Mel,
By the time I called the Red Lion a few minutes ago to reserve my
room, the reservations clerk was fully trained. the instant I said the
words next March, she said "You must be another one of those Mel
Jacobson people, the 7th through the 11th, right?"

the one thing that i did not tell folks is:
the price per night is $90. now that is a good
deal. try and find that anyplace else in downtown
portland.
i know... i spoon feed you guys and gals.
but, what is a moderator to do? just like
a grandpa.
