Call for Entries ~ Family Matters

=20

Family, with all of its joys, challenges and triumphs, is the focus of
Family Matters, a national exhibition of functional and sculptural clay =
art
juried by Ohio couple and clay artists Eva Kwong and Kirk Mangus. =
Family is
universal to the human experience. The impact of family often =
profoundly
affects our daily lives as well as our studio practices. Whether family
content is evident to the maker or the audience, whether it is visually
obvious or a hidden subtext in the work, Baltimore Clayworks invites
submissions of works that explore family matters. Accepted artists will =
be
required to send along with their work a short statement on their =
thoughts
on family as well as an informal photograph of what family is for them.
Both will be displayed with their piece in the exhibition.

in
