Don't give up on a room at the Red
Lion in Portland. I called yesterday
and reserved
a room for a friend..... no problem.
When it comes to hotel reservations,
or anything else where you care enough
to make the call, don't give up without
making that hotel your FIRST effort. Be
sure, however, to give the code words
"Clayart/Mel Jacobson."

In the Mojave where our Spring is here.
The very air is soft. I was up at 5
making mini teapots... think I have
an addiction here.... I'm ready to move
on, but Just One More becomes a series
of Several Mores and there I am. I
sold 32 stained and/or slipped ones but
want this next batch of 50 or so to be
glazed ... plan to keep these. I am
restraining myself to one or two a day
since I'm keeping them AND I do have
other tasks to complete. Sheila, you
started me on these, you know, with your
first mini on Mel's page... AND I still
haven't begun work on Tony's macho pots.
