I have posted this on potterbarter but thought to do it here as well =
since
some have elected not to join the yahoo group.
This is a completely manual wheel built by a former teacher and sold to =
me
along with a kiln (which has since gone).
It is currently out at the local pioneer village in London Ontario where =
it
has been for the past 4 years (and used every summer in a period =
studio).
Unfortunately the village had some financial difficulties (the city =
didn't
want to help fund it this year and it almost had to close) so they have =
had
to find outside programs to come in and run during the summer. One of =
these
is taking over the room I have used these past 4 years. There is no =
where
else in the village for me to set up a pottery so I am out (as a =
potter).=20
I am willing to part with the wheel for $50 but you must move it. You =
will
need a truck or trailer. The fly wheel is cement cast, the wheel head is
aluminium (off another wheel) the frame is 2x4s and big bolts - too hard =
to
take apart to transport. I can send you photos if you are interested.
