for Advanced Potters
Guest Potter: Mark Rossier
Broaden your pottery knowledge and skills
through an intensive study of Cone 6. Throwing
techniques, glaze discussions and a variety of
glazes are presented in this class. Tools are
purchased separately, if needed. Fee includes
25 pounds of clay, cone 6 glazes and firing of

Hand Building Figures
Guest Potter: Marie Gibbons
Demonstrations and discussion of figurative
hand building and cold finishes include hands-on
work. Marie will show slides of her work
and discuss creativity. 10 pounds of low-fire
white clay is included. On day two, Marie will
demonstrate and discuss cold finishes on student's
work.

Westminster was the first place I met Mel.
He did a fabulous workshop there which included all
kinds of extras including de-bugging their new gas kiln.
They have a very nice studio and
Everytime I read about one of their workshops I have a
moment of regret I am no longer within driving distance.
Marie Gibbons is a Clayart friend who does incredible sculptures
and cold glazes.
Wish I were there to partake.
