Hello Lori,
I'm on the other end of workshops in that I offer one on ceramic decal
printing and firing....this workshop can be tailored from two weekends.....(min.) to
week-long. Usually, I explain the process and show examples and then have
the students prepare for their actual working on screens and decals the
second session....usually both days are all day affairs (9 - 4) with lunch break.
If the session is week-long then students can get into more involved printing
and perhaps even more image making....Usually the workshop has 10 - 15
students more and it is not possible for everyone to actually prepare a screen and
print decals.....hope that this helps a bit...

I fogot to ask...what comunity college are you at? If you are looking for
anyone to offer a workshop, I may be able to steer you in the direction of most
any type (raku, saggar, pitfiring, etc)....I work at the School of the Art
Institute of Chicago.
