Having seen one decade-old artists' coop fall apart over bookkeeping =
questions, I'd say as strongly as I can, get the bookkeeping off campus! =
Have someone professional, unconnected and unrelated (no helpful =
spouses) to any of the artists keep the books. And, from day one, be =
sure everyone understands the gallery's policy about paying out =
commissions when dues are in arrears.
