Our current exibition "Clay & The Printed Image I" curated by Paul Andrew
Wandless is now online at www.claylink.com.
All of the works in this exhibition incorporate different ways to transfer
images onto clay. These different processes include: commercial decals,
enamel decals, laser toner decals, monoprinting, silk screening, embossing,
and stenciling.
While works using image transfer can be seen in other shows, this
exhibition is unique in that image transfer is the central theme.
The artists featured in "Clay & The Printed Image I" are Ian Anderson,
Richard Burkett, Naomi Cleary, Charlie Cummings, Trine Hovden, Jeff Irwin,
Jeremy Jernegan, Les Lawrence, Frida Malarborn, Scott Rench, Mark
Richardson, Paul Scott, Victor Spinksi, and Paul Andrew Wandless.
The show contains a rich variety of styles of work, ranging from sculptural
to functional and from abstract to super-realistic.
