Has anyone ever heard of B.F. Drakenfeld gloss majolica glazes? They are
powdered and the envelope says for ceramics, porcelain or glass. I would
like to know how to mix and use them for china painting. I tried mixing
medium and they don't look like regular china paints, more grainy and
heavy and harder to spread. Thanks, Terry Sita

Hi Terry
Don't have an answer for you but the Drakenfeld Co goes back a long ways. I too have some of these envelopes of glaze material. So far I have not tried to use them. The company was bought or changed name to Cerdec then the name was changed to DMC2 Degussa metals---the
address is/was ? 251 Wylie Ave, Canton, Pa. 15301
Phone # 724 223 5900. This info I got a few years ago and never followed the trail. You can try and see if they are still in business.
Maybe they can give some information.
Good Luck
