Hi.
I'm looking to slip-cast refractory pots. Lagunaclay.com has
a hydrated slip product #WC-895 "refractory body" that fires
between cone 10-13, all wonderful, but I was informed because
of its high alumina content, wouldn't accept glazes very well.
My pots need to be triple-glazed inside and out to keep their
strength, and be impervious to the fumes from materials I'll
be smelting. Does anyone know about glazes that might work,
where I might obtain or how to prepare them myself? Thanks!
