Potters all!

I'm currently setting up a high fire pottery in Brooklyn New York, near
the corner of 4th Avenue and 25th Street and am seeking someone to share
it with me.

The rent would be $300 per month, but you'd have keys and full freedom
to work when you wanted.

The pottery will be in a small outside shed space which is being
modified to be cool and light with doors opened in the summer, and
easily heated in the winter. The nice thing about using it in the summer
is that pots can be put outside to dry.

There will be initially a refurbished Alpine gas kiln with new controls,
my wheel, some basic glazes, very low wedging board, shelving with room
for another potter and his or her wheel. You'd have to be a partner in
setting up any additional facilites (such as standard height wedging
board, glazing center, etc.)

You could use my wheel when I'm not but if you do wheel work I'd take it
as a sign of your financial strength if you came with a wheel!

I'd ideally like to find someone that likes shinos, tenmokus and other
hi fire glazes so we can mix and share.

You would be able to fire as often as you want. The gas bill would be
split by us according to who fired when and how long.
