I'm looking for sources of free/salvaged firebrick in the Northeast US. I
live in Maine, but will be making a roadtrip to and from Michigan in
June. If anybody knows of potential sources on that route... I remember
hearing about someplace in Ohio that'll load a pallet for cheap, don't
recall specifics on that though. Or any ideas on places to investigate.

I have priced k-23 soft fire brick @$2.40 each and hard brick @ $2.75 from Thorpe in Dallas. Does anyone have a better option in the North Texas area?
