Perfect!
I, too, had searched for that because I thought it was
grand (and funny at times).
One of the reasons was that I wanted to print it off
and sit down with my pencil to take time for these
4(right?) lessons.

My previous problem was that I couldn't print it: the
last words/letters were always cut off.
--add half a...of feldspar, then 26 oz of Car.. Yeah.
Problem.
Doesn anyone have a simple solution?
Highlighting/select didn't work. Can I/she reformat??

Howdy y'all,

in addition to this search...

http://lsv.ceramics.org/scripts/wa.exe?
S2=clayart&L=CLAYART&q=&s=glaze+course&f=krakowski&a=&b=

you might try this one...

http://lsv.ceramics.org/scripts/wa.exe?
S2=clayart&L=CLAYART&q=&s=glaze+course&f=halchaos&a=&b=

You will have to cut and past the links to get to the search results, but
both are glaze courses posted to clayart. No idea of Hal's course; have
yet to look through it. Good eating.

Marianne --

When I have this problem, I select (highlight) the
entire thing I want, copy it and paste it into a blank
document in a word processor. I let the word
processor do the word wrapping and formatting for me.

But I'm sure there are other ways to do this.

Taylor, Good lead--as in scout--thanks! I copied and pasted the 2 =
lines of
each address onto a word page and turned it to landscape so it could be
arranged as one line. Then copied that to paste in the browser. So now =
I
have Hal's glaze course, too. Can't have too many courses, can we? =
Anyway,
when I printed out all the lessons in your search results I am missing
lesson 4 part 1, lesson seven part 2, and lesson eight part 2. Were you =
able
to get them all?

I have spent most of this week thinking about glaze making, reading =
about
glaze making and all of today making glazes. And I realized that as I =
was
pulling the materials off of the shelf to put into the glazes I was =
thinking
"hum, this is a flux, it going to make it run." Or "hum, this alumina =
is
going to make the glaze stiff." Or, "hum, now what is this potash going =
to
do." There were more of the question "hums" than knowing "hums" but it =
was
a big change in my reaction. Before (this is my 3rd attempt at mixing
glazes) I was just doing what I was told--did not occur to me that I =
might
have any notion what it was all about!

Hello Taylor,

Funny how my first, imid question re frits has
exploded into national proportions. i love it.

I tried to get to the site you suggested (Lili's is
marvelous) but could not. Cut-n-paste? Where?? (I have
a Mac iBook...does that make a difference?)

If it is complicated stuff I can ask my Mac Guru son.
If there's a simple answer, maybe you could lend me a
minute?

Marianne --

You have to take the two lines, the one that starts
with 'http' and the one that starts with 'S2=clayart'
and put them together -- together, pasted into the
address window of your browser, they will get you
where you want to go. (Apple, Unix or Microsoft makes
no difference.)

Thanks Lee,

You're a peach.

Actually Maurice has set me strait on this. Enclosing the long a..
address line in < and > forces the line to remain clickable. Problem
solved for all. I'll be sure and do that in future, and thanks Maurice.

I tried the links on my mac and just clicked them as they are listed in
this e-mail. It worked just fine. What browser do you use? Netscape?
Safari? Explorer? Cut and paste refers to highlighting the url link
copying it (speed key apple-c) then pasting it into the browser bar
(speed key apple-v)
