They've always had Precious Metal Clay here in Japan (since my first
visit in 1993) developed for origami by Mitsubishi.
Does anybody know if it can be used to mend broken ceramics? Seems to
require a low temp. Would a torch work?

Ohhhh, Ahhhhh what a clever idea.
You can torch the PMC. I may have to try it!
Wondering now whether one could inlay pieces
not just mend pots?
