Have I pulled the wool over your eyes??? If a cup can't hold coffee, how can
it have any caffeine?
I sent Lee some pics of our cups and he so generously has offered to post
them.- thanks Lee!!!!!!!
Now Taylor calling me an old fart- This is a first. Does this mean my voice
has changed, but my breath is the same?
Taylor a pile of bricks is always an art form. I start my first class at
Sheridan talking about piles of bricks. Photos of the suburbs around the
school with horribly boring brick buildings and talk and photos of old
brownstones in Europe where proportion seems to lift these common houses
into a thing of beauty at least in my eyes. The point is to get them to look
at the common cup and think about how proportion and attention to detail can
make the ordinary -extraordinary.
I also collect old bricks from brickyards of the past. I have a Medalta
Pottery brick from an old beehive displayed in our livingroom along with
other great pots. I paid $20 for it. I also have an old saggars.
When you take your first pile of bricks and build your kiln you will have
created art.
cheers,
Tony
I love bookstores, hardware stores and brickyards.

Thanks.... I wasn't sure since in some places its common to have a
sightly different design for decafinated coffee mugs...
I can't wait to check the pics out! The only work I've seen of yours is
the one on your website...

Tony, you mislead me. Saw your header and thought
you were coming to the Indy 500 next weekend. But
noooooooo. I like your collection to include bricks,
though. There's some old beehive kilns south a ways,
I'll get one for you. You can have it/NCECA, along
with a picture.
Does showing them pictures of inspired brick architecture
inspire THEM? Or is it the usual some yes some no?
Keep at it up there. I'm still using the mug I got from
you as my morning regular. And sometimes my evening.
A daily inspiration, all by it's lonesome.
regards
Dannon Rhudy
