Hi Steve and anyone else wanting a scrumptious glaze...

I also tested it, and also got the orangey speckles. Looked great. I then
used it (same batch) on two small cylinders, and it was horrible! Just a dull
dry yukky brown. Same clay, same firing temp, same etc etc etc, but - I
assume I did something wrong, just don't know what. However, I will try again, as
I am sure the orangey speckles are sitting there just waiting to return.

It seems to me that some of my glazes have changed significantly just
sitting in the bucket for a period of time. I had a strong, true blue =
that
I used again a couple months later (which I re-sieved and well =
stirred)and
it came out a lovely turquoise! Both times on the same clay.

Glaze application thickness may be the culprit.
