Wondering if anyone has designed/built their own bin tables for storing raw
materials? I'm getting ready to create the garage into a glazing room and
would love to put in a proper bin table, but they are very pricey! Also if
you have any ideas re: venting.
thanks!

Deborah:
With all the talk about proper ventilation in the studio space
lately, I question the need for a bin table such as you describe.
It seems that the more one transfers things from bags etc, and then
in and out of the bins, the more dust one is likely to produce.
I work in an unenclosed space outside, so venting is not an issue. =20
But I recently helped a friend load one of those bin tables into his
vehicle, for use in a basement studio, and that's where the dust
issue came to mind.
I store powders in (the) plastic bags (that I got them in from my
supplier) and store those bags in (75) one gallon tubs with lids.
Neat, stackable, waterproof, and no dust.
They don't make a good work surface though.
Just a thought.
