Glaze test for Mackersi Yellow, cone 6 oxidation.
Glaze tested on white midrange stoneware fired in electric oxidation to =
1220c. (2228f)

Shut off kiln
Recipe:
16 Strontium Carb.
63 Kona F4 Feldspar
21 Dolomite
ADD
2 Bentonite
4.2 Crocus Martis
Apply thinly, runs and pinholes if thick.
Note: All raw materials are measured up or down to the nearest half =
decimal. =20
Colorants or additives to a 100 gram test batch are measured in percent =
to the 100 gram test batch.
Results:
Crazed. Transparent, yellow green, gloss. Streaked.
Described as translucent yellow, mat with rivulets.

This glaze is not stable - way short of silica - best not to use it as a
liner glaze.
Yes it is going to craze on any clay body!
