Hi everyone.
There are a few spaces left in the Kathy Triplett workshop being hosted at
MudFire July 23 and 24.
Kathy will be covering texturing and manipulating soft and stiff slabs to
create sculptural wall tiles and lighted wall sconces. She will also
demonstrate the extended pinch method of hand building large forms.
Sculptural surface treatments such as terra-sigillatas and glaze stains will
be explored. Participants will also learn how to slump glass and wire a wall
sconce, and will also learn to make plaster molds for tiles.
The fee is $110 for two days, including breakfast (!) The workshop is in
Decatur, GA (which is an independent small city, inside the city of
Atlanta - yeah!)
