etc.

Well, I finally figured out how to upload the photos of the "in progress"
studio construction, the new soda kiln and a couple of killer pictures of these
Western North Carolina mountains. The kiln is finished other than the
coating. Right now we have the kiln bricked up during this messy dry wall
installation.
During grading of the hill behind the studio, it uncovered some veins of
kaolin behind and to the left of the studio and I've been hand mining it. The
clay in some areas is so hard it's like hard rock mining and then there's all
that mica and quartz that I have to dig through to get to it; but I have
about a couple of hundred pounds and I'm hoping this will flash like the old
Avery. We're in the general area of the old Avery mine and the mica, quartz and
iron bearing soil that this kaolin is found in is similar to the conditions of
Avery and Boone kaolin which is has a molecular formula very, very, close to
Avery.
Please excuse the two spelling/grammatical gaffs on the blog; but I can't
figure out how to edit it. Maybe an experienced blogger can tell me how to edit
those errors.
The photos are all scrambled and not in order I want and maybe someone can
tell me if they can be rearranged once they're on the page?????

Here's the URL. You might have to copy and paste it if hitting the link
doesn't work.
