Hello clayarters, It has been several months since i've posted to
clayart as i have moved and no longer have studio space. But i am
soon to share a space and have begun working out ideas for an
installation. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
i am making some fairly large, 25X18X25" pieces and want them to spend
some time under water and in the pacific surf. I am trying to
determine what clay body to use for these 1" thick press molded
pieces. Can I assume that as long as a clay body is brought up to the
temperature for which it was developed, it will be equally as strong
whether it is cone 04 or cone 10?
