Hi Russel,
I'd been meaning to post this about the festival - just hadn't got round to
it yet. Avril and I would like to organise another Clayarters mug exchange
this year - also it would be good forall us Clayarters to be "red dotted" so
we can spot each other. Is everybody game?
We will find somewhere for everybody to get their red dots and a time and
place to organise the exchange. We won't have a Clayart place of course but
i'm sure we can easily improvise.
Jenny Lewis will be there and I'm sure that fellow Clayarter and South Wales
Potter Andrew Niblett will be there too. Also Robin from Top Pot Supplies
was a clayarter even if he's lapsed currently.
Having read Ruth Ballou's posts over the years I'm really looking forward to
meeting her - and in fact all the Clayart friends I met last festival.
On the Sunday i'm having a re-union with my friend Diane Cruickshank who,
having spent a long time living in Wales and being very much part of the
north Wales ceramics scene, returned with her partner Martin to her native
Vancouver on the eve of the last Festival. She's staying with me for a night
before seeing more friends in the Bangor area and we drop her off on our way
to North Scotland and a two week holiday. I'm so looking forward to all
this, i'm getting in the holiday mood already.

I'll certaily bring cups; 1 for the cup sale, one for the official exchange
and more for those that happen around the edges.
We might also consider red dotting ourselves, unless sales have been
sooooooo good that we don't have any red dots left. Which is the case, I'm
sure, for Avril who's pots seem to be flying off the tables.

Hi Jacqui!
Looking forward to meeting you, too, and enjoying a weekend of clay!
Best,
Ruth
