Registration continues for Daryl Baird's 2+ Day Clay Extruding Workshop
Where: Bonnie Hellman's studio, Ouray, Colorado, located in the heart of
the
beautiful San Juan Mountains in Southwestern Colorado.
When: Slide show Friday evening August 12; Workshop August 13 and 14, 2005.
Cost: $160 which includes all materials and a personally signed copy of
Daryl's The Extruder Book at the end of the Workshop, a $45 value.
Attendance is limited to 7 participants. Your check will hold your place
for
the Workshop.
In this two-day, hands-on clay extruding workshop, Daryl Baird will show
you
how an extruder's unique capabilities add variety to your work, stimulate
your creativity, and increase your earning potential. In these two days,
Daryl will show you that clay extruders aren't just for making coils and
cup
handles anymore!
This is a fast-paced two-day event that begins with a Friday evening slide
show and discussion to get everybody warmed up and to get the ideas
flowing.
On Saturday morning you will start working with extruder and die operation
and learn loads of tips & tricks from Daryl that ensure the best results,
no
matter what type of extruder is used.
Saturday afternoon and Sunday, Daryl will continue the demonstrations while
you work on your own individual or group extruder projects. The Workshop
will conclude with a group discussion and review.

.....There are only 2 spaces left! There are reasonably priced hotels and
campgrounds in Ouray, CO and the setting in spectacular.......
Anyone in the area (or who'd like to BE in the area)
shouldn't miss this workshop. Not only is Baird's work
innovative and interesting, with a lot to teach just about anyone, but
Ouray and environs is just breath-stop beautiful. You can't beat
the price, either. So go, have a good, cool, refreshing
time. Bring back reports, stories. Take your flyrod and
a bead head wet fly or two, long as you're there.
