Ah Angela! That three-holer is the same kind of wheel we had in my high
school art class. Tha'd be the one where I spun a blob o' clay across the
room and never tried pottery again until I was, oh, 26 or so.....

Angela,
When I first started teaching I did a short, part time semester at a
high school, I can't remember where exactly, but they had one of these
3 holers. A treadle wheel, stand up contraption. Thanks for the
memories, Mike Gordon

Angela:
The Amoco treddle wheel is the very FISRT wheel I used in high school back
in the late 60's. Brings back lots of memmories.....especially those sore
shins as a result of taking your left foot off the treddle arm and resting
it on the floor too close to the arm. OUCH! It would smack you 2 or 3 times
before you could get out of the way.
The 3 holer one was one that I used at a college arts & craft center in
1974. Cleanup was a snap since all could be pushed into the water bucket
through the top. Great fun back in those old days.................sigh....
