Weekend Tilemaking Intensive- July 16th & 17th, Saturday 11-4 Sunday 11-2:30
Spend a weekend in the studio learning how to make tiles out of clay.
Students will explore cutting and shaping techniques, surface decoration and
glazing. Make tile accents for use in mosaics or create individual art
tiles. Instructor Jessica Liddell is a professional mosaic artist that has
created large scale architectural mosaics throughout the country. Her
storefront studio, Tesserae Studio Gallery is located in the historic
Mt.Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia. Workshop fee of $125 includes
materials.
