Here in Japan, they make jiggered and mould made work that has
throwing marks and irregularities in the design. Production potteries
here pay young folks to make these things (takes little skill) and even
sometimes fire them in a woodkiln. Lots of souviner work is done this
way. Stuff like Bizen can be electric fired with the firemarkings
sprayed on.
