I am getting ready to do a search/study of copper blue glazes for cone 10
reduction.
I want a semi-transparent or even clear glaze in a strong turquoise or bluer
color. I do not want a cobalt blue.
I have done titanium in copper reds, and the color is close, but I really
want something less opaque.

Would appreciate any help! hints, starting recipes, or secrets to get
copper to go blue in reduction.

Thanks
Lois

You will be testing a long time to find such a glaze. ian Currie's
book, "Revealing Glazes" may be of help, but my experience is that the
many copper greens and blues need a matt surface to work. Many of them
are red just under the surface. Lots of alkali and Potassium may do the
trick.

You might take a look at the copper blues and greens sprinkled around
my site.
