Hello,
I recently moved to New York and I'm looking for a studio. I live on the
east side in the 60s, but I can take the subway to a studio if I need to.
Does anyone know of any? Thanks.

Try Supermud in Brooklyn.....traditional studio with a paint bar, voted best in the city in 2002.

Lauren,

Please come check out La Mano Pottery, which is at 237 West 18th Street
(between 7th and 8th). La Mano is a small, full service studio and is
convenient to nearly all subways. You can register for classes and have
unlimited open studio time (anytime classes are not in session) or you
can sign up as a studio potter, which provides a dedicated personal
space and generous access to the studio. Except for firing fees, all
materials are covered in the price (including laundry for towels and
aprons).

We are open Tuesday - Friday from 12 until 9 and from 12 until 6 on
Saturday and Sunday. There is always someone on duty to help you out
and answer questions.
