Thanks, Steve, for sharing your copper blue work.
Extraordinary! I hope you're charging big bucks
for it. =20
You inspire me. After I get through this next phase
of my learning curve, I'm going to tackle the
website concept. I haven't felt I had much to share,
but then got to thinkin' about how much I enjoy
visiting other clayarters' work .... the kinship I
feel with them when I consider all they've put of
themselves into the whole process... makes me
so pleased that I've made it into the computer age.
It's been 21 years now. I never dreamed that I'd
spend several hours daily surfing, writing and=20
learning to care about so many new ideas and
people! Of course, I was then heavily into education
and had yet to feel the clay madness bubble up
from the mire&muck of my depths. Figured I'd
spend my retirement ... Youth of Old Age... tourin'
and cruisin' ..... with others as well as alone. I
have yet to really examine one of the many cruise
brochures that come my way weekly. If they don't
say clay or at least art right up front, forget it. Not
for me.

In the Mojave getting all my stuff at home prepared
to survive a week without me while I attend the
workshop (Van Gilder's) in Lake Tahoe. A good
non-potter friend is going with me, not for the
workshop but to get some time away from the job.
...realtor/broker/contractor...... definitely a Self
Made Woman. Our town's real estate is erupting.
Selling prices are scary. Should be an interesting
ride.
