The Royal Museum in Edinburgh is a wonderful collection of ceramic
organized like a World History of ceramics.
Also recommendations from " A Ceramicists guide to European Museums"
Alexandria Copeland, (AU majolica artist)
lists dozens of wonderful museum.
In Spain: Barcelona, Valencia, and Madrid all have "national "
collections as well as the Picasso and Miro museums in Barcelona.
In Florence, Italy, the Bargelo houses an incredible collection of
majolica, the Archaeology has greek pots and the porcelain collection
is in the Boboli Gardens.
I saw a great Peruvian show there in 2004 at the Stromboli Palace.
Amsterdam has the Rijks Museum with unbelievable delft ware an much
more.
I have used Alexandra's bppk as a guide around Europe.

Dear J;

Oh my, how I do love my computer with high speed and access to sites
like you cite! You could wait forever for some publisher to reveal
these marvelous things to we potters. Now, no waiting for the caprices
of marketing.

Cheers, Hank
