Recently while in Kunming China Yunnan Province, I walked by a little Bar
called the Pottery Bar and there was clay drying outside. It looked like a
bar inside except for the pottery everywhere and after some translation fun
I found out they had wheels to rent. I came back later and threw some
pottery with a exceptional potter who was the teacher there. If anyone is
in Kunming near the Harbor Plaza Hotel, it's just down the street, toward
Green Lake Park. They used Yunnan Porcelain without glaze and it's beautiful.
