cone 2 clear glaze? (majolica base)

Here are a couple of glazes that I use for cone 1-2 majolica.
Without the superpax, they are clear over the terracotta body I use.
I add stains and oxides to the clear base to use it over the white
majolica base.
Version 2 has more clay so I like it better, it makes a better working
slurry.

They are both essentially the same glaze but formulated two different ways.

Post's Majolica Cone 1-2
20 Frit 3195
15 EPK
5 Flint
60 Frit 3124
------------------
add 15 superpax for white

Post's Majolica Cone 1-2 Version 2 (I use this one the most)
26.6 Frit 3195
24.5 EPK
12.1 Flint
27.8 Frit 3134
5.7 Custer Feldspar
3.3 Whiting
------------------
add 15 superpax for white

John,

I was looking for cone 1 majolica on Google and found your old
post. Can you tell me what the surface is like at cone 1? I am looking
for something to use in the soda kiln at cone one, maybe single fire. I
could add a little more clay for raw firing and to compensate for the soda.

What do you think?
