Hello folks,
Still on the quest of barrel firing *evil laugh* ;) I
am reading books/articles on the subject which is
informative, but I have yet to find much on
temperature and there is nothing like experience in
the end so here I am again begging for feedback :)
I was wandering what temperature range can be reached
in a barrel and with what type of fuel -- I am
assuming it is dependent on what one uses as fuel --
and not in terms of heat work or cones, although that
would be my second question if it is at all possible
to answer it.
Thank you,
Fabienne McMillan

The barrel, per se, isn't the limitation.
Fuel and burner type are also not critical
for such a small space. The amount and type
of insulation will matter more, along with
the airflow (flue size, shelf stacking, etc.).
