Clay folk,

I just received in the mail a most beautiful tea bowl from Dale Neese. I have to say there is such a wonderful feeling from this tea bowl. Sure its balanced is just right, has beautiful crawling areas in and around white & grey ash, a beautiful iridescent & peculiar iron wash which really has me visually combing this three dimensional landscape among beautiful orange, samon and peach peels. That said, it just feels right. Thank you so much Dale.

Thanks Tony, the feeling is mutual. I received one of Tony's beautiful
teabowls at NCECA this year. I had another bowl of mine that I was to trade
with Tony while we were there. Unfortunately for him and me as well it was
lost. The canvas Clayworld bag containing several of my bowls and some Texas
Clay Festival t-shirts was left under a table at lunch during the
conference. I am still kicking myself. Checked at all possible lost and
found places with no luck in finding them. So if anyone sees some person
wearing a Texas Clay Festival t-shirt, carrying a tan canvas Clayworld bag
(with CLAYART BUTTON) drinking from a teabowl it's not me.
So after this last firing I sent Tony a replacement bowl I owed him.
