Andy, according to ceramicmaterials.info there are very slight (almost
insignificant) differences between grolleg and standard porcelain. Have you
compared these two materials in practice and what differences did you find?
Where does one buy it?
I find this discussion on porcelain very informative. Thanks.

Hello Antoinette,

=91 ... there are very slight (almost insignificant) differences between
grolleg and standard porcelain.=92

There is another product called Super Standard Porcelain, at around 0.40%
its iron content is much lower than either Grolleg or Standard Porcelain.
In addition to it being probably the whitest firing kaolin on the market,
due to both low iron and titania, it is incredibly plastic. Hammil and
Gillespie stock it. A better place for information than
ceramicmaterials.info is http://www.imerys-tableware.com/pdf%20files/ITW%

Andy
