Hi folks,
Mike and I are planning a trip to New Mexico in early September, and I'm
wondering if there are any New Mexico Clayarters out there who might have
some advice for me. We have always done a lot of camping, backpacking and
hiking, but after my injury last fall a lot of that is not going to be
possible. I would love to find somewhere not terribly expensive where we
could rent a cabin or stay in a small guesthouse, so Mike could go out and
wear himself out while I would have a pleasant place to relax and soak up
the scenery, and maybe take short walks or do some sketching. Anyone know
of such a paradise? Anywhere in the state is a possibility, though we have
talked about the Santa Fe-Taos-Abiquiu area as a possible focus.
Thanks for any suggestions. Offlist replies appreciated.
