Hello,
I've owned a copy of the "Hyperglaze" software for a
bit now, and just installed it onto my Mac. -I am
having some difficulty getting in to it.
Don't want to come off as an idiot... I'm trained in
ceramic chemistry (which I'm used to doing with
pen/paper). Also, it's one of those things where I'm
sure once I get the hang of it, it'll be a breeze;
however, I'm having some trouble getting through the
"front door" so to speak.
I've contacted Richard (creator). He seems very nice,
and although he's apologized for the rather extreme
shortcomings of the new so-called "help" windows that
replaced the written manual, he can't seem to
accomodate me on purchasing the latter. Those
tangible and much more explicit form of instructions
were for whatever reason, dubbed unnecessary -or
perhaps not cost effective.
Example: The Quadblend (quadraxial) help window
states the obvious quite well... that it can be used
to blend 4 materials. Huh, I'd guess that's why it's
got QUAD as the root word, eh?
What's missing is how to put those ingredients in,
i.e., which buttons to push to enter, mix, and save-
y'know, the basics. Again, I'm sure with time I could
figure it out, but I'd love a "how-to" guide to speed
things along. After all, I got the thing to SAVE
time...
Anyone else had a problem with their introduction to
Hyperglaze?
OR BETTER YET, anyone out there got an old manual!?!
I'd be willing to pay to have it copied and sent.
