An add-on to my reply. The support should have some wadding of the same clay
since expansion and contraction will take place. Don`t know why I didn`t
mention in first reply cause I was thinking it..and I have heard Marcia`s
patching works.
It is a common problem. Husband has switched to making his sculptures of
paper clay and it has greatly reduced the cracking headache.
