Does anyone know or have experience with problems that
these concrete based wheels have in the long run?

Only thing I can think of is a bad back from moving them. The Stuart
Thomas wheel is a fine wheel.
well balanced and keeps going for a long time.

The only problem I had was after the wheel had sat for while the wooden=20
floor settled and I started getting a rubbing sound. ( I had it in a second=
=20
floor apartment during college.) I contacted Thomas Stuart and they=20
instructed me to loosen the set screws a little true up the head and shaft=
=20
slightly and tight the set screws back down. That cured it. I liked their=
=20
kick wheel so much I bought one of their Pro version electrics.=20
