Thanks for all the previous comments but what I am looking for is an
answer to this question. "Is there a reason for the extreemly large exit
flues that I have seen in so many WOOD FIRED kilns?" They appear to be
twice the area or more of the exit chimney area. I have read Fred Olson,
Jack Troy, Glen Nelson, Ceremics Monthly's "Journeys and Techniques, and
numerous web articles but I can't seem to find a difinitive answer to this
question.
